Tarik McAllister
Tarik is the Founder & CEO of Community Companions and a dedicated human services professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting adults with disabilities. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Community Based Education. Tarik has led operations for several organizations throughout his career, overseeing program management, staff coordination, and service delivery.
Tarik is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities that promote independence, community inclusion, and long-term success for individuals with disabilities. He also holds multiple industry certifications, including ACRE certification, demonstrating his commitment to supported employment and high-quality person-centered services.
Alexis Miles
Alexis is the Chief Operating Officer of Community Companions, where she leads operations, strategic partnerships, and marketing initiatives focused on expanding impactful, community-centered services for adults with disabilities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and brings a strong background in the social impact and community development space.
With experience in operations management, relationship building, and strategic growth, Alexis is passionate about creating inclusive opportunities that empower individuals and strengthen communities. She also holds ACRE certification along with additional industry certifications that support her commitment to person-centered services, workforce development, and community engagement.
